Research topics
My research interests focus on the study of the strong interaction, which is the force that shapes protons, neutrons and the like and keeps atomic nuclei together. It is a fundamental glue which binds us all.
The field theory that describes the strong force is called Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD). It is the mathematical tool at our disposal to understand the emergence of matter from quarks and gluons, the elementary degrees of freedom of the theory.
Students are always welcome to inquire into potential thesis and research projects.
