Spin off

Spin off companies are stock corporations or limited liability companies with the scope of commercial exploitation of research results obtained at the university and to which the university granted the status of spin off.

Professors or members of the scientific staff that are employees of the Department and that own the intellectual property rights establish a spin off with the aim of exploiting the technologies that have been developed in the academic research and to transfer them to the market.
